The first VISA and the frustrations of the continent’s bureaucracy
David Robertson
''I have had the pleasure of
traveling to 43 nations across Africa since 1988. However, the process of Visa
applications and traveling from point A to point B can still be a struggle.
Each country has offered me ‘extraordinary experiences’. For the Cameroons
we have special permits. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for new team-companions. Some embassies were brilliant at providing a ‘not really feel
like home’ atmosphere. Anyway: the first Visa for Angola is
in the pocket.''
